Great Experiences
Core Martial Arts is amazing. Scott and Carrie are awesome and really care about the kids. They have a good variety of skills they teach the kids and they are incredibly compassionate. They went above and beyond when my son was diagnosed with Cancer to make him and his older sister feel special and were sensitive to their needs. I'm waiting for the day that my two younger kids can join the Core Martial Arts family.

Core Martial Arts has been a wonderful addition to our family. My 3 kids thoroughly enjoy the kids classes because Mr. Scott and Ms. Carrie are amazing teachers. They look forward to every class. As a parent, I love that my kids are learning important self defense tactics. I also love that they are learning important lessons about hard work, integrity and perseverance.
The adult Krav Maga classes are so helpful as well. I went way out of my comfort zone when I decided to do them but I am thrilled I did so. Carrie and Scott make the classes fun and informative. Learning these techniques has been extremely empowering. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Core Martial Arts family!

"My son noticed Core when we passed by on our daily commute. After much thought, he asked if he could give it a try. My husband took him and finished his first Krav Maga class, but wasn't too sure if he wanted to stand for the Hapkido class. My husband encouraged him to stay. When asked if he wanted to go back we were surprised that he said yes. By the end of the week, my son was hooked. As he attended classes from Monday through Thursday we noticed he was holding himself with pride, looking at people in the eye, and his social skills improved. Scott and Carrie provide a safe learning environment that has allowed my son to grow in confidence, stature, and increase his social skills. I have a background in Tae Kwon Do, and when I moved to the area, I was originally looking into TKD schools and found that they were not Korean based organizations. When I visited Core, I immediately felt a connection!! Scott and Carrie really took the time to find organizations that are true to the art, while really teaching self defense tactics and real world scenarios to apply the technique! I feel much more confident defending myself on the ground now because we not only practice standing but all ways that we can be attacked. Another thing I really love about core is how genuine the instructors are. Coming from a lifetime of martial arts, I can truly see that they are purely there to teach. This is not a school that is here to take your money. You will EARN every belt you receive!
Also, we are doing this as a family and my 4 year old son has grown so much in such a short amount of time! He is learning self discipline, respect and taking care of himself through self defense and exercise! It has kinds of become an extended family for us and we love coming here!
